Innsbruck is totally synonymous with Alpine skiing – twice hosting the Winter Olympic games and boasting ski resorts on all sides – the city is steeped in snow sports. Gazing down from the many resorts onto the city is something to behold.

We are big fans of Axamer Lizum – it is the highest ski area in the vicinity of Innsbruck and has a real Olympics retro feel to it. The scenery and off-piste are seriously good and good riders flock from the region to Lizum on powder days.
