The natural world offers unlimited opportunities to be overwhelmed by beauty or scale, to be fascinated and bewildered. People who live daily with a mountain range, an ocean view or plains that stretch to the horizon are vocal in never tiring of the majesty of their corner of the natural world.
Motivated by personal or altruistic reasons, we feel compelled to capture and store visual moments, occasions and situations that we aren’t ready to leave behind. We want to take them with us, so we can start the next day knowing that what came before is not lost to the passage of time. So it is with Piste View – take a view, an incomparably beautiful one, add a method of travel that allows us to immerse ourselves in the splendour of the surroundings and it is like being behind the camera of the most timeless and awe inspiring film of all time. Piste View is a project to capture, store and share those unique moments of travelling amongst the peaks.
