Without snow the concept would be ‘incline view’, ‘path view’ or some other variant of a way down a mountain and some way short on emotion. As it is we deal with the breathtaking environment of snow covered mountains and the capture of the thrill of descending these irreplaceable, euphoria-giving beasts on film. So it is that snow is forecast for the coming days on the Austrian glaciers and whilst snow is ‘any season’ welcome we are not sure how the filming is going to work on a 3000m+ glacier in early summer snowfall. That said we will be on the Stubai Glacier on the 2nd June 2011 to begin the lengthy process of capturing this unique, mighty and incomparable terrain.
